This document is a draft: it has not yet been reviewed by a legal professional and is not enforceable as it stands. It is shown rather than hidden, so that nothing is sold on invisible terms.
1. Purpose
These terms govern access to and use of the cookedapp.io site and the account area it offers. Use of the Cooked software is governed separately by the end user license agreement, and the purchase of a license by the terms of sale.
Browsing the site constitutes acceptance of these terms.
These terms exist in English and in French. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
2. User account
Creating an account is optional: the software works without one. The account exists so you can find your license, your activations and your invoices.
- Access to the account is by a single-use sign-in link sent to your email address. No password is created or stored.
- You are responsible for the confidentiality of your mailbox, which is the only way into your account.
- You undertake to provide a valid email address and to keep it up to date.
- An account is personal and may not be shared.
You may request deletion of your account at any time by writing to contact@cookedapp.io. Deleting it does not invalidate your license.
3. Use of the site
You undertake not to disrupt the operation of the site, in particular not to attempt to access data that is not yours, not to subject the service to abnormal load, and not to circumvent its security mechanisms.
In the event of a breach, access to the site and to the account may be suspended. Such suspension does not affect software already installed.
4. Availability
The site is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance or for technical reasons beyond our control.
Site downtime has no effect whatsoever on installed software: the charge limiter depends on no online service.
5. Intellectual property
The contents of this site are protected. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization is prohibited, with the exception of short quotations with attribution.
6. Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The applicable version is the one published on this page, with its last revision date shown at the top of the document. Any substantial change affecting account holders is notified to them by email.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. They are drawn up in French and in English; only the French version is authoritative.
