Refunds and right of withdrawal

How to cancel a purchase within 14 days and get your money back, wherever you live, with the model form to use.

1. Your right

If you bought as a private individual, you have 14 days from the formation of the contract to cancel, without giving a reason and without penalty.

In the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom this is a statutory right of withdrawal. Everywhere else, we grant you exactly the same 14 days on the same terms — as a contractual commitment written into our terms of sale, not as a favour we could withdraw case by case.

This applies to private individuals. The law does not grant it to business buyers for this type of purchase, and we do not extend the commercial commitment to them either — which is all the more reason for them to use the free version first, then the seven-day Pro trial, both of which let you check everything without paying.

For digital content supplied immediately, the law allows a seller to remove this right by obtaining your express waiver. We have chosen not to do that. Your right therefore stays intact for the full fourteen days, even if you have already downloaded and activated the software.

2. How to exercise it

You simply need to notify us of your decision, unambiguously, before the deadline. A plain email to support@cookedapp.io is enough — you are not obliged to use the form below, but it makes sure nothing is missing.

3. Effects of withdrawal

We refund everything you paid, taxes included.
The refund is made no later than fourteen days after we receive your request.
It is made using the same means of payment as the order, unless you agree otherwise, and at no cost to you.
Your Pro license key is deactivated on the refund date.
The software keeps working in its free version, with no time limit.

4. An alternative to buying first

The free version of Cooked is not a crippled demo: it includes the charge limit in full (20% to 100% setting, recovery margin, active discharge) as well as the charge, health and temperature display, with no account and no deadline. We encourage you to use it first, to check compatibility with your Mac before paying anything. A Pro trial lasting seven days, limited to one per Mac, can also be started from inside the app with no payment method.
